New Camera

I am part of several Swap and Sale groups on facebook, where people can post things that they have that they want to sell or give away for free. They can be in good condition, or excellent condition, or new. There are many terms and abbreviations that go along with what you post; EUC (excellent used condtion), GUC (good used condition), NIB (new in box), PPU (pending pickup), etc. You post a picture of the item you want to sell, the info on it, and how much you are selling it for, or free. The way you show interest is by commented "interested" on the picture and if several people are insterested, the seller goes in order of those interested. So if the first person passes, it is then offered to the next interested person.
I have sold a double stroller on the site, since getting our "new" one from a friend who was getting rid of theirs.
About a month ago this lady was selling her camera for $50. It had been posted several hours earlier and no one had posted that they were interested in it yet. So I looked up the model and make of the camera and it was a fairly good camera. Selling brand new for anywhere between $300-$350. Not a bad beginners camera for someone like me who wants to know more about photo taking.
I posted I was interested and asked if she would take $40. She said she would and my brother picked it up for me since he lived closer to the seller than I did.
I have been trying the camera out on several occasions and I am having a ton of fun with it. Some of my pictures are really good I think, others okay and some not so great, but I am learning! Here are some that I think are good enough to post!
