We finally got a place to call our own. Its a very nice apartment in Concord, just down the street from where we work. 15 minute commute ain't bad! We moved in 2 weeks ago this saturday and have been organizing, organizing, organizing! Here's what the outside of our complex looks like.
A couple friends from my parents ward came to help us move and we couldn't be happier with the place we've found. Its a one bed, one bath with just the right amount of space. I still need to find my camera so I can take pictures of our place and what it looks like now. But we have all black or silver appliances and thanks to the many gift cards we recieved from friends and family for our wedding, we have not had to pay out of pocket for anything we have wanted to buy for the apartment, with the exception of our couch and kitchen table, which were great prices!
We went to taregt for the billionth time it seems like and got two tall book shelves so we can finally get our living room cleared of the many boxes full of books. (mostly all Gabe's :P) The Dollare Store has been a great help for minor things, such as Halloween decorations to make it feel a little more like our own place. You can get some great stuff at the dollar store!
