Fall is my favorite time of year. The weather cools down, the leaves change colors, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas. Mmm. We were at the Temple yesterday morning and one of the women working smelled like cinnamon and gingersnaps. It was like getting a whiff of Christmas! I can't wait for Halloween. It will be our first one together, not our first carving pumpkins together though. And Thanksgiving we will be flying out to West Virginia to see Gabe's family. I can't wait!! Plus I'll get to meet Gabe's sister Ana and brother Nick! Its gonna be great!
Gabe and I had a wonderful time yesterday. We went early to the Temple and had a great time there. I bought a new dress cuz the one I have no longer fits so hopefully now we can attend a session soon, if I can go without a snack and a restroom for 2 hours :P Its getting easier as the time goes by and I am now, or soon will be, in my second trimester!
After we went to the temple, we drove to Dublin because Bed Bath and Beyond was having a 20% off everything for registered couples who are getting married or who were already married not too long ago. So we went and took some of our gift cards that we received from all our friends and got some great things: much needed pots and pans, new pillows (oh so soft!), a shower curtain, the nice one we wanted they didn't have but we found one just as good, and some nice table lamps and floor lamp. I had been worried about getting good lamps but we found a set of three already on sale, plus with the 20% off, it was a great deal. We didn't end up using any money out of our own pocket and we didn't eve use a whole gift card. How lucky were we.
After the fun we had at BBB, we went to the Danville Farmer's Market and got great deals on veggies and we bought some Raw Whole Milk which is really good. Its not cheap but its something we've been wanting to try. We're also thinking of grinding our own wheat. We'll see how that one idea holds up though... ;)
