Wedding Planning

The plans are coming along. We will be getting married two months from yesterday so we can now officially say less than two months!! WooHoooo! I remember when we were saying 4 and half! We took some pictures over General Conference weekend up at our Bishop's cabin while we were there with a bunch of our friends from the Tri Valley ward, and the bishopric was there also of course! The pictures turned out really well thanks to one of our friends, Natalie, who we asked to take the pictures for us. There was a beautiful spot by this river up in the mountains and we took them there. Here's a few from the trip...

I ordered the announcements last week and they should be here soon. Looks as
if a lot of things are falling into place. I was becoming soo stressed out over the whole thing a few times but I guess that is what comes with paying for and planning a wedding.  We are hoping to have our announcements out soon and then I can start thinking more about other details, like us getting a marriage license and such. We went apartment shopping last week and it was awful! Man! Even with this economy some places that look absolutely wonderful are still going for the house rate. Tsk tsk... oh well, we have 2 moths :)
Kiel and Melissa's wedding is next weekend and all the family will be here and all of us here at home are soo excited! I especially can't wait to see Brig. Its been a while since I had my Twinner here. And then Celia will be coming home for the summer! woohoo!
Work is wonderful! I absolutely LOVE my job! How many people can say that?
The Dr. I work for, Dr. Iranmanesh, an Oral/Maxillofacial surgeon, is hilarious and likes to make fun of everyone in the office and has no problem when people throw it back at him. The two front office ladies are soo sweet and funny! The other assistant I work with is so much fun and I love working with people who are older than I am. Everything gets done and no one is crying :P
Gabe is studying for his National exam which is on the same day as Kiel's wedding, and the only OTHER day it was available to take was on... take a guess... June 13th, OUR wedding day. So he will be joining us triumphantly after his exam on Kiel's wedding day for the reception and partying.

I think Brigitte is the only one he hasn't met yet from the immediate family.

Anyway, Life is great! We couldn't be happier, unless we were married already of course! ;P

I'm glad things are coming along well! About the apartment thing. I don't know what you are looking for, but Bud and I live in a very nice gated apartment complex right over the hill in Pittsburg. I was totally against living in Pittsburg untill I saw these places and saw the price. They have huge patios (bottom floor at least), lots of storage, full size washer and dryer hookups inside every apartment. You can either bring your own W and D or rent them from them for $17 a month each. They also have onsite laundry if you prefer that. We pay $814 a month for our one bedroom apartment. This place is Kirker Creek. It's in it's own area, so it's not at all in the heart of the city. It's quiet here and nothing ever happens. Check into it. Let me know if you're interested!
