Kind of an Awful Day

To start off I will say something wonderful! Shelley had her baby so now I am and Auntie of three! Yay!! I got s picture of the little guy on my phone and he is a cutie! I will let Shell post the first pics of him and let her have the fun. Kind of like the first bath for a baby after its born, you just let the mom do it or else... o.O

So today was kind of awful day in some ways. I picked up Gabe from where he caught a ride to a school with a friend around 8 this morning and we went to the nearest Chevron on Clayton Rd and Treat to fill her up! ;) I was driving, and we were behind this man in his pick up truck getting ready to exit the gas station. He starts to pull out and when he is already half way out of the gas station and I find it safe to start pulling up to the curb, he decides that he isn't going to pull out in time to make it in front of the oncoming cars and decides to back up. He didn't see me there pulling in right behind him. I stopped and he kept on coming back and backs up right into my right side. Luckily he was not backing up fast. Gabe was sitting in the passenger seat and I don't know what I would have done to the man if Gabe had gotten hurt. So the right side passenger doors are all dented. AT LEAST THIS ONE WASN"T MY FAULT! HAHA POINT FOR ME! :) Anysway, the car runs fine and I see no problems with driving it. It just isn't pretty to look at.

Besides that happening, I have had a cold or something this past week and haven't drank very much; I don't drink very much anyway; and I was at work for the afternoon over at Dr Blatter's office. I was waaaay excited to be there since I loved working there. The first surgery I went into I start to black out. I was like "ah man! not again. not now, pls!" and I start sweating bullets and losing energy and then my hearing goes out to the point where I can't hear a thing and then I lose my balance. Then imagine the fuzzy picture you get sometimes on the TV and that is what my vision did next. Loads of fun huh? lol I pretty much muster all the energy I can to get out of the room and ask one of the other assistants to take my place and barely find a chair to sit in while stumbling into the walls. I'm thinking to myself "Great! I just turned 23 and no longer have Medical Insurance and I'm gonna be leaving here in an ambulance! Gah! I love my day so far." lol I make it to a stool and in about 10 minutes I'm back to normal almost except I'm pale and freezing. Just a minute ago I was sweating bullets! whats up? lol I figured that I need to drink more water!.... and you should too! lol

Mom and I went to a Pre-Nursing Seminar over at the CSU East Bay campus here in concord and it looks like a really great program. One of the top 10 in the nation. Maybe someday!

Hope everyone had a good day. At least I got to see Gabe and be with him today and that he was with me when the accident happened and that it wasn't my fault! woohoo!!!
