I will be soo glad when June 11th comes around, the fun can begin! Work has been a little stressful with my employer out for a week and also our Office Manager. I have been appointed to take up my office manager's responsibilities til she comes back a week from today and it is not as easy as it looks. Being a back office surgery assistant is TOTALLY different from any front office work and although I have the hang of it all in just a weeks time, it is a little draining and just as hard as standing in surgeries all days and taking care of patients. This week I get to sit in the office by myself and answer phones, schedule appointments, call insurance companies, take in and schedule new patients, make sure not to over flow the Dr's office, that is on-call for us this week, with all our patients, make charts, post payments, bank deposits, statement and balance letters, DEEP clean the entire office, send old referrals to their referring dentists, call old referrals and get them to schedule, eat lunch in there somewhere, order supplies, stock rooms, and I'm pretty sure I'm missing a boat load of tasks still to be done. The when I get home I relax for a minute, if possible, and try to get everything else done before Gabe gets here so I can chill the rest of the night with him. Does it get any easier when you are married, I wonder? Maybe not easier but probably more worth the time spent doing all these things that somehow make up life and family. Gabe and I have 2 and half weeks till we'll be married and let me tell ya... I still have the flowers and food to order for the reception. Luckily, my mother likes to get things done way way way in advance so I have already spoken with the food people ad flower people and they assure me that a week in advance is plenty of time. Phew!
I can't wait to see family and finally have Gabe's family meet mine. I can just see his dad and my dad finding some quiet corner in the house and chatting for hours. They both are the talkative type. I still haven't picked a hair-do for the big day and I really hope Gabe's buddies go easy on my car at the reception... no repeats of anything like Melissa and Kiel's... I would seriously blow up! :P

Adam's family WRECKED our car that night...we had to head to a gas station before going to the hotel to clean off what we could...he was pissed! haha
I can guard your car and beat away any punks. I'm a mom so I can do that... right? :/ And by the way, life only keeps getting busier and tougher and draining and full of more and more responsibilities when you add a hubby, kids, house, callings, etc... but more rewarding. Live up the couple of weeks you got left!
Shelley, where were you when my car was getting syrup poured ALL over it and filled with you know what!?!
My car doors are still hard to open.
