Baby Shoes

I made this little shoe out of a pattern I made, somewhat going off something I saw online that was free (but not very cute). It is so much cuter than the picture shows,even though it was a test run to see if I could even make something that resembled a shoe. I need to alter the pattern I drew just a little because I am aiming for them to eventually look like these shoes here on Joyfolie. But for my first attempt, I think it looks quite pretty!! And this turned out to be small enough that it would only fit a newborn. So I really need to make myself a sizing chart when I get the hang of making them! Looks like someone is in need of a Michaels and Joann's Fabrics trip!!

Scrapbooking...

I have been on this quest for digital scrapbooking supplies and over the past several months I have gathered a great collection of buttons, pins, flowers, tags, headers, frames, swirls, paper, and just any kind of embellishments you can think of. You guys have probably noticed that I change the look of the blog quite often and this is why. I am always trying to improve from the last thing I make.

I really want to make a scrapbook for Sydney as she is growing up and hope to continue it with the kids to follow. Here's something I've made recently:

I have also tried making announcement and invitation templates. So, I hope it lasts, and here we go...
