Finding a place was stressful enough, but moving and unpacking, I can say I really hate it. Every time we have moved from one apartment to another, or from my parent's house to this new place, I have just dreaded the actual moving part of it. The unpacking, yes is stressful too, especially when you find that the kitchen in the new place wasn't cleaned at ALL! Ugh! We had to wait to put away our dishes until we got our new dish cabinet, because along with the minimal cabinet space above the counters in the kitchen, which I didnt mind all that much, they were not cleaned out. No way was I putting my dishes in those cupboards. Anyway, here are some pictures. We still have boxes in some rooms, but all the boxes in the dining area are empty and unpacked! Progress is being made and it is finally feeling like home.
This is the hall way when you walk in that has the three bedrooms on the right, the bathroom on the left and at the end to the left is the dining area.

View of the Living Room from the Kitchen. And the front door is there to the left, you can probably barely see it.

Kitchen Area. Its a little slim and not much cupboard space but I can live with that because it has a backyard and a garage, and a large dining area.

And if you stand at the end of that hallway looking into the dining area you can see the entire dinging area and its big, which I love. And those are all empty boxes that we have from unpacking. You can also see our lovely dishes cabinet that we got on Tuesday at a thrift shop for get this... $80. All our dishes, minus pans, fit in that.
There some bookshelves on this wall to the right that you can't see by the sliding glass door leading to the backyard.

Going out to the backyard
Someone left some beer cans in the backyard before we moved in. Nice huh?? There is a large patio, a tree as a you see, and...
To the right is a large area of rock and dirt, which we plan to put grass on when I see a good deal on craigslist. I have seen some deals of people getting rid of or selling it for real cheap. So thats our plan. And the little area of dirt next to the tree I want to put our Garden next Spring. So after this baby is born, that is my project, to work on that and get it started. (Anyone want to come and build me a grow box?? hint hint *cough* Steve *cough*) =P
So back in the house, looking down the hallway towards the front door, the rooms are on the left now.
Our messy room. There is no master bathroom. But the room is a really good size.

Hallway going down to the attached garage. Its nice to have a place to put the diaper pail and not have it inside the house.
The bathroom is small but has a tub on the left there, the vanity in the middle and then the stall shower on the right behind the door.
Sydney's room from the door.
And a view from the closet.
And the office that is still full of boxes to be unpacked when we get everything organized in there.
So there you have it! Our home sweet home that needs decorations and we are still waiting on a few lamps and bookcases and an Entertainment center. Hopefully we will be here for several years like I said and can enjoy being in one place for once for a while. We are very excited about this new place and it has enough room for the next baby and possibly even another.

So the landlord won't put in the grass for you? That seems weird for you to pay for it, unless they just aren't going to. You can buy grass seed for $15 at lowes/homedepot. Just make sure you "plant" in the fall or spring. I'm hoping to try that this year. It would be a lot easier if we had sprinklers though.
I haven't up right asked if they would, but we are free to do it ourselves. The grass seed seems easy enough! I'll have to try that first!
