Sydney LOVES Daddy. For some reason, she seems to prefer him to anyone. Not that that is a bad thing, but she prefers Daddy holding her and most of the time, doesn't want me at all. Yes, at first I felt rejected. What mother of a precious and cute little l year old wouldn't? But I think its because Gabe has been the one putting her down at night and helping her during the night, since I have been so tired. When she wakes up in the morning, she always calls for Daddy. When she is upset, she calls for Daddy. When Daddy isn't at home, or not in the room, she will let me hold her. She actually cuddled with me for a full 2 minutes yesterday and I LOVED it!
I am sure its just a phase, but I sure hope it phases out quick. I miss her calling for Mommy. I better not find out that Gabe has been passing her cookies under the table or something...
