Spice Up That Hair Do!

So I have recently seen many woman wearing headbands with flowers and even just the flowers themselves in their hair. I wanted to try it out and here it is! I think I picked a pretty good color flower to go with my hair. All I did was pick a flower I liked at Joann's Fabric store, cut the flower off about 3 inches below the flower on the stem and just stuck it in my hair! Simple. Secured it with a heavy-duty bobby pin.

I am also making a skirt. I used to have this really cute white skirt that I LOVED before the pregnancy with Sydney made it impossible to wear. Then when I thought I would fit back into it, I zipped it up and popped the zipper out of the seams. It was a sad day for me. One of those days where you want your old body back. Luckily it was short lived because I told myself that I could make one myself since it was such a simple design for a skirt. I'll have real pictures to post later, but this is the design I drew up.

I'm excited to wear it! It looks fabulous soo far and Mom is helping me with the zipper. Zipper and I don't get along.
