It snowed a few days ago and it was beautiful! I haven't seen the reports on the news but I don't think it has ever snowed during my lifetime here, where is stuck and did not melt. Gabe and I woke up, left for work and there was snow on the ground, the car, on the hills and mountains! This is a picture from my phone through one of the large windows in one of the operating rooms at work.
If you're from this area imagine coming over Ygnacio Valley Rd into Concord from Walnut Creek and all the hills you see in front of you as well as Mt. Diablo. They were covered in snow; all white!! It was beautiful! It melted a little and left ice the next day. The pictures here are from "the next day"; yesterday. I hope it snows again, but boy was it cold!!
I almost slipped on all the ice while walking to the car.
This was our windshield after we had scraped it with our safeway cards and costco cards, because we do not have an ice scraper for the car.

This is very cool (ah pun) I love your pictures of the snow, we used a spatula for the windows as we didn't have an ice scraper either.
