Do you ever feel like when something unexpected occurs you get stuck? Like it should be the easiest thing in the world to figure out what to do but for a split second your mind goes blank?
Sydney started to get fussy during the sacrament and for a split second I didn't know what to do! HELLO?? Anyone home?? lol Gabe had to lean over and tell me to rock her car seat back and forth to calm her down. I started thinking to myself "oh yeah!! Why didn't I think of that?!" I've only been doing it for the past 2 and a half months!
Or when you have guests over or are at church in a class and you are totally content with listening to the conversation because you really have nothing to add to it and someone asks you a question and then nothing comes to mind? Then you get all nervous and start sweating and then wished you had worn a white or black shirt that day so no one would notice.
These kind of moments happen often for me and I am starting to think to myself.... is there a diagnosis for this?

Its called Mommy Brain. I've had it for years... there isn't a for sure cure yet either. Get used to it! ;)
New mom, long nights, sorry it doesn't get better until your youngest is 12 - and then they just say you're getting older.
Or it's just being human. I'm not quite a Mom yet, but I certainly wonder where my brain is sometimes ;)
