Hot Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I have been wanting something with chocolate in it and cookies sounded great! I made some Peanut Butter cookies the other day, but they just didn't satisfy any kind of sweet tooth. So with a little help from the internet I found a Whole Wheat Pastry Flour Chocolate Chip cookie recipe and I changed it a little to meet the criteria I want in our cookies here at the Keogan Household. Instead of using the cup of brown sugar like it called for, I put in the the 1/4 tsp + a pinch of Stevia, About a 1/4 cup honey, a tablespoon of molasses and a whole banana. And then I followed the recipe as it went on, added the chopped up dark chocolate bar that we bought from Trader Joe's, that uses Maltitol (sp?) a sugar sustitute, for the chocolate chips. (Like any sugarfree candy, you DO NOT want to eat a lot of it). The cookies are great! FluffAY and goood. Good enough to make me want a glass of milk to go with it.
I am happy to be finding so many good recipes that I won't feel guilty eating or have my kids come home and snack on after school! (That's still several years from now, but still!)
